Android only for 689.000 units sold in 2008, it seems hard, strong increase in the popularity of Android software - year growth of 150.4%, exactly!
This continued increase in demand is for the ears of music such as Google and HTC who have taken the Android operating system in recent months with some success smartphones - most especially Hero HTC, HTC and Nexus the next Magic.
IDC believes that Symbian will maintain a leadership position throughout the forecast period in the world - mainly because of the strength of Nokia on the market outside the U.S., Symbian continues to lead all other phone systems.
' S Android is like a Blackberry competitor, and Apple is expected to revolutionize the fight against WebOS needs Android smartphone. Blackberry seems to take a beating in the forecast, the Apple iPhone and Android smartphone is now taking the lead from a number of options and phone Apps.
Strangely a lot of say-about the impact of the Windows Mobile OS is almost no in the last few months, including IDC even mention the operating system in the prediction and analysis.
Clearly, flexibility and connectivity of smartphones continue to be the UK's Android mobile phone users to decide. Great open source and choice of phone accessories, little wonder why Android seems to be making waves.
